Baan nai Sra Resort

A unique village living style resort where you may observe and participate in the daily life activities of the people.
Are you looking for the real Thailand, in a place where people and places are untouched by streams of tourists?
If that sounds appealing, then the House in the Pond is the place for you.

Here you can stay in bungalows airily perched in a pond festooned with lotus blossoms, and gaze at the lavish scenery around you: bamboo, cypress, myrtle, and banana trees, picturesque mountains adorned with lush forest, and verdant paddy land where you can watch the villagers working in their fields.
And best of all, it's affordable - only $30 per night for a bungalow! Conveniently situated twenty-one kilometers south of Chieng Khong, a quaint town on the banks of the mighty Mekong, the House in the Pond Resort is also a central starting point for more traditional sightseeing tours to the Golden Triangle and other historic places of Chiang Rai Province.
In addition to local tours of the area, Ban Nai Sra Resort offers other amenities such as free use of mountain bikes to explore on your own, and genuine Thai massage to further make your stay a relaxing one. Or else, you can just take it easy in our spacious, yet cozy bungalows, where the cool clean air of the countryside and the easygoing pace of the village ensures a serene retreat.
For a small fee, you can enjoy our little sauna room nestled snugly in the bushes.
